Minister of Social Development and Families Wins GCC Award for Humanitarian Work

Kuwait: The Regional Network for Social Accountability presented the Minister of Social Development and Family, HE Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, with the GCC Humanitarian Work Award, during the Gulf Humanitarian Work Summit 2022, currently in session in the State of Kuwait.

The Minister of Social Development and Family won the award, which was received by Qatar’s Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Ali bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, in recognition of her effective role in the field of human development and promoting community development, as well as empowering people and humanitarian agencies and contributing to raising awareness and strengthening the role of institutions.

The GCC Humanitarian Work Award is the premier award specializing in the field of government and official humanitarian work. It aims to honor major government humanitarian projects in GCC countries, spotlight charitable projects in the Gulf, help strengthen ties between GCC countries, and showcase the success stories of owners of humanitarian initiatives in GCC countries. Founded in 2007, the Regional Network for Social Accountability is an international non-profit professional organization that aims to raise awareness of the social responsibility of companies and institutions, and to strengthen social responsibility in the governmental, civil and private sectors.
